Here’s a gem.. Bugskull were never the most “precise” live unit, but man there were some moments of intensity/hilarity/absurdity. Highlights of this tape include:
a blistering Almost Blue with a (criminally) rare appearance of Jimmy on violin.
an indulgent Stiff as a board with the immortal lines: ” wondering where I am, in a foreign land. wondering how the hell I got here I rode in a van”
2 never released tracks: “What I had in mind” and “Krush Groov(ie)” featuring our neighbor Greg on Tuba (awesome!) .. the list goes on.

the one and only time i saw bugskull was at a donut shop in santa cruz, california and i recall it was spot on. looking forward to this, thanks.
Holy shit. That was a really fun show, I’m glad you got to see it.. As I recall, we pulled into Santa Cruz towards the end of our nationwide tour on a whim, to visit the boardwalk. We ran into Alicia from Poundsign (later Aisler Set) and she pursuaded us to play with them at the Donut shop that evening.
One of several great memories of our travels in and around California… uber alles.
